Projects and Programs CRIB is an annual gift-giving activity of the local organization during the Yuletide season. Past beneficiaries include military personnel who were deployed during the Marawi siege, jail inmates, and low-income generating families. ABNO is an initiative of the chapter to retain membership in the local organization and to help the newly inducted JCI babies in their journey of becoming regular members. Activities are created to foster camaraderie among members. These include team building activities, dinner dates, trips. among others. Green is Gold is an environmental program of the chapter which aims to help address UNSDG #12 Responsible Consumption and Production, #13 Climate Action, #14 Life below Water, and #15 Life on Land. This is also in line with JCI Philippines’ Think Green program. Kagayhaan Gold Cup is our annual multi-disciplinary competition. It started in 2016 with a Dragon Boat Competition. In 2017, it received a Temiong Award as Best Sports Development Program during the JCI Philippines 2017 National Convention. In 2018, the chapter conducted the Knowledge Games under this program. Teach The Streets is a project which aims to educate learners and young children about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The children are also trained with some skills they need to help address the UNSDG, so they too can contribute on how to make this world a better place to live in. Red Initiative is JCI Kagayhaan Gold’s HIV Awareness and Prevention Caravan which aims to educate different sectors in the community on the truths about this phenomenon and combat/lessen misconceptions and myths among people about HIV. This is also to encourage everybody to get tested. Unsung Heroes is to give recognition to our everyday heroes. When it was founded in 2016, the chapter gave recognition to Street sweepers in Cagayan de Oro City.
